Straight answers, including the ones that are not flattering. Where we do not know something, or have not measured it, this page says so instead of guessing.
The model never picks a measurement. It reads your brief and works out what you meant — oversized, mid-calf, drop shoulder, unlined — and hands that over. Every number after that is calculated by code: base blocks, ease tables and grade rules held in the software, not invented by a language model. That part of Seamix calls no model at all.
Twenty-four construction rules then run over the finished chart. Twenty of them can stop a pack outright — a sleeve too narrow to fill its armhole, a neckline a head will not pass, a pocket hanging off the bottom of the hem.
What we do not claim: that this replaces a technologist’s sign-off, or that fit is settled. Confirm every pack on a physical sample against your own blocks before bulk.
It is built to the structure a factory expects: points of measure, a bill of materials, and construction callouts for seams, stitches and hardware, in the order a pack is normally read.
It is a draft for a garment technologist to check, not a substitute for technical sign-off. No factory has yet cut a sample from a Seamix pack, so we cannot tell you one will accept it unchanged. What we can tell you is that the pack will not contradict itself, and that it says on its face what was checked and what blocked.
All three. The engine carries thirteen pattern blocks and 114 garments, from a t-shirt to a trench coat to a combat boot, and will produce interior views and hardware specs for each.
Be aware the depth is not equal. Clothing blocks carry between five and eleven construction rules each. Footwear carries five, and bags carry four — three of which are recent. Treat a bag pack as a strong starting point rather than a finished one.
To be precise about how it works: we do not train our own models. Your brief goes to a third-party generative AI provider, and the result is structured into a pack by our own code.
Yes, as images. Every view arrives as a high-resolution file in the bundle alongside the multi-page PDF, and you can bring those into Illustrator or CLO3D as reference.
There are no vector pattern files. No DXF, no SVG, no editable spreadsheet. If your workflow needs a digital pattern your CAD system can open, Seamix is not yet the tool for that part of it.
That is the reason this exists. Describe what you want in ordinary sentences — the fabric, the fit, the pockets — or attach a photo of a garment you love, and Seamix does the technical translation.
You do not need to draw, pattern-cut, or know what a grade rule is. You do need to check what comes back, which is why every decision the engine makes is shown to you before a single line is drawn.
Your fit, yes. Your designs, no.
Give Seamix your block once — type it in, or measure a garment you already own laid flat — and it saves that body to your account, one per fit block. Every pack you draft on that block afterwards starts from your fit instead of a standard one, and the pack records whose body it used.
What does not exist is model training. We do not fine-tune anything on your designs, there is no custom-model feature on any plan, and there is no Enterprise tier. If we build it we will say so here first.
Two of the twelve views in every pack are pictorial: a product view and a campaign visual. They show colour, drape and proportion, and they are useful on a line sheet or in front of a buyer.
They are generated images, not photographs, and not a simulation of fit. There is no sample behind them. The other ten views are technical line work, and those are the ones a factory works from.
Every field can be edited, and Seamix tells you which kind of change you are making before you confirm it.
Renaming a style, changing a season or swapping a Pantone costs nothing and moves nothing else. Changing a fabric weight, a stitch type or a base measurement re-runs the checks and re-issues the verdict. Changing the silhouette, the material itself or how the garment is put together is a different garment — and it says so, rather than leaving you with drawings that quietly disagree with the specification.
You do, as between you and us. We claim no rights over your creative work.
Two honest caveats. In several countries, material generated without enough human authorship may attract limited or no copyright protection. And ownership between us does not mean a design is clear of somebody else’s trade mark or design right — run your own clearance.

Your library is private to your account. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our cloud provider, and separated per user by server-enforced access rules.
Reference photographs you attach to a brief are never written to your project, your version history or an export. They exist in the tab you are working in, until that run finishes, and nowhere else.
We do not use your briefs or your packs to train models, and there is no brand-training feature to opt into. Seamix holds no ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certification — our Security Policy sets out exactly what we do and do not claim.
We do not publish a figure, because we have no verified customer data to support one, and a number we made up would be worth nothing to you.
What is true: brands often go through three to five rounds of physical sampling per style, and a complete pack at the outset is meant to reduce that count. Your actual result depends on your supplier, the complexity of the garment and how many times you change your mind.
