Billing and
Refunds.

Plans, renewal, taxes, how generation allowances work, your statutory cancellation rights, and when we refund.

Last updated: 16 September 2026 // Version 1.2 // Governing law: the laws of England and Wales

1. Plans and What You Get

  • A credit is consumed when a generation completes and the techpack is delivered to your library, whether or not the pack passes the factory readiness gate. The generation costs the same to run either way, and a refused pack is delivered with the full list of what blocked it so you can correct the specification and run it again.
  • Credits are returned automatically if you cancel a run before it finishes, or if a run fails without delivering a pack.
  • Unused plan credits carry over into the following billing month. Plan credits expire two months after the billing period that granted them, so a balance settles at up to two months' allowance. Credits are spent oldest first, so the ones closest to expiring are used before they lapse.
  • Credits bought as a top-up are paid for separately and expire twelve months after purchase.
  • Allowances are personal to the account and may not be shared, pooled or resold.
  • A free trial, where offered, includes a limited one-time allowance that does not reset and does not carry over. It is available once per person and per organisation, and may be changed or withdrawn.

2. Payment, Renewal and Taxes

  • Payments are taken by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month on the anniversary of purchase until cancelled, and we charge the payment method on file.
  • Prices displayed to consumers include applicable VAT or sales tax. Business customers may be charged tax in addition where the law requires it. You are responsible for any withholding tax, duty or bank charge imposed in your country.
  • Invoices and receipts are available from your account and from the Stripe billing portal.
  • If a payment fails we may retry it and may pause generation until payment succeeds. Repeated failure may lead to downgrade or closure of the account, and you remain liable for sums properly due.

3. Cancelling Your Subscription

4. Your 14-Day Right to Change Your Mind (Consumers)

  • If you have not started any generation, we refund the full amount you paid.
  • If you have used part of your allowance, we refund the amount you paid less a proportionate deduction for the generations already consumed and the period of access already provided.
  • Any generated document already delivered to you remains yours to keep and use.

This section applies to consumers. If you buy as a business, the statutory 14-day right does not apply and section 5 governs refunds.

5. Refunds Outside the 14-Day Period

  • a duplicate or clearly erroneous charge;
  • a charge taken after you validly cancelled;
  • a generation that failed and produced no usable document, where the allowance was still deducted;
  • a qualifying availability failure under the Service Level Agreement, in the form of service credits;
  • where we withdraw the Service or make a material adverse change during a period you have paid for; and
  • any case where a refund is required by consumer law.
